Terrible, I bought this model pressure cooker at a black friday event. Worst decision ever. I actually bought another later. Worst second decision ever. Both worked for a few cooks, but neither hold pressure now. Steam just pours out of the "safety valve" (granted, this is better than if the pressure cooker exploded). It doesn't pressure cook.

Under pressure, the internal temperature rises above the normal boiling point of water, causing roasts, stews, soups and vegetables to cook faster. The shorter cooking time saves energy as well as more of the nutrients and flavors in the food. The pressurized steam tenderizes meats naturally, leaving them moist and succulent. Aluminum has high heat-conductivity and distributes heat evenly.
